Danese Cooper is an author, computer scientist and open source advocate. Cooper is well known for her work defining open source strategy at companies such as Sun Microsystems, Intel, Wikimedia, and PayPal. In addition, she has served on the boards of numerous organizations including the Open Source Initiative (OSI), the Drupal Association, Open Source Hardware Association and a is a regular speaker at open source conferences.
