Abigail Cabunoc Mayes is a computer scientist and software developer best known for her work on “open science” projects such as Contributorship Badges for Science and WormBase. Presently, Abigail runs Mozilla Open Leaders — a mentorship program that teaches leaders how to apply open source principles to their projects, organizations and communities. She is also an editor for the Journal of Open Source Software — a peer-reviewed academic journal for software research.
