Steve Johnson

Steve Johnson is a computer scientist best known for his creation of Yacc — a Unix utility that made it possible to create domain specific programming languages. While working at Bell Labs, he also authored several other Unix utilities including Lint, spell and the Portable C Compiler — one of the earliest compilers for the C programming language.
