Jeff Dean

Jeff Dean is a computer scientist and programmer. Dean was one of the first software engineers hired by Google where he co-created several open source projects including Protocol Buffers, the LevelDB data store, as well as TensorFlow — a machine learning software widely used to develop artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. Dean also co-created the MapReduce programming model (which paved the way for “big data” processing systems like Hadoop) as well as the BigTable data store which is widely credited with inspiring the NoSQL database software movement.
